Checkers is a small building quick service chain that offers franchisees significant advantages over its big box competitors, including build out. Checkers and Rally’s footprints occupy small and efficient spaces, which permits much of the build out to be ready within just a few weeks. Before beginning build out, franchisees must begin at the start:

\n QUALIFICATION:<\/strong> Checkers franchise application process is designed to ensure that you are just as happy with your new business enterprise as we are, this is why you must complete the following steps prior to being considered for the awarding of a franchise:<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

1.         <\/span><\/span>Fill out our online franchise candidate application.<\/font><\/span><\/div>\n
2.         <\/span><\/span>A Franchising Representative will contact you to discuss your interest and qualifications.<\/font><\/span><\/div>\n
3.         <\/span><\/span>Once qualified by a sales associate and have continued interest in joining Checkers , a Franchise Information Package will be sent to you in the mail or virtually (email). This package will include more detailed information about Checkers. A Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) will be included in the package.<\/font><\/span><\/div>\n
4.         <\/span><\/span>Once your application package is submitted and financially approved, a representative of our operations team will contact you to arrange an interview with you and your partners to discuss your business and operations experience. <\/font><\/span><\/div>\n

FRANCHISE CANDIDATE DAY (once a month):<\/strong> If interest continues, you will be invited to our once per month special Franchise Candidate  Day, in which you will have the opportunity to learn more about our brand on an intimate level, as well as we will have the opportunity to get to know you.

\n FRANCHISEE SIGNING:<\/strong> You will be notified upon the completion of our review of your qualifications. All franchisee prospects who intend to sign the Development Agreement and\/or Franchise Agreement for one or more restaurants need to provide the information requested in the Franchise Information Package, submit the required financial information, and sign the FDD receipt.

\n SITE SELECTION<\/strong>: Following your signing, we will walk you through the site selection process. While it is important for you to build your own community ties and connections to real estate professionals, we will help guide you in the right direction and will approve your site selection.

\n BUILD OUT:<\/strong> After selecting your site, build out begins immediately. Our staple designs help speed up this process.
\n
\n TRAINING<\/strong>: After construction begins, we will schedule a four-week training program at one of our training centers throughout the country.

\n OPEN YOUR DOORS:<\/strong> After construction, training, building code approval, and preparations, you will now open your own Checkers and Rally’s location and begin what we hope is a long successful relationship with our well known and well respected brand. <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n <\/td>\n
